Ingredients

  • 500g beef mince
  • 1 brown onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Vegemite
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the beef mince and cook until browned.
  3. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Transfer the browned mince to the slow cooker.
  5. Add the diced onion, minced garlic, and grated carrot.
  6. Stir in the tomato paste.
  7. Pour in the beef stock.
  8. Add the Worcestershire sauce and Vegemite.
  9. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  10. Stir everything together until well combined.
  11. Cover with the lid.
  12. Cook on LOW for 8 hours.
  13. Stir well before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.
